April 2019 Updates

Today is April 23, 2019. Yesterday I submitted my book to Amazon for publishing! Months of hard work editing and re-writing sections of the book. It's finally done. It's submitted. It will be published Thursday! Woohoo! I've read/ listened to 10 books so far this month. I've added 6 audiobooks and 3 physical books and 30 ebooks(most of them were either free or on sale). It's been a busy reading/writing month. That's on top of completing 20-30 job applications per week. We have had the weirdest weather as per usual for Colorado Springs in April. We got up and down 20-50 degrees every other day. It has snowed multiple times. We've had multiple days of 70-75 temps. It's been crazy and wonderful.

My Book- Updates 4/2/19

So I realized when I was doing edits that a LOT has changed in my life since I wrote the first and even the final draft of my book. Like an incredible amount. Big life changes. Some positive, some negative. But they have changed my views on a few of the topics that I talk about in my book.  Since I'm self publishing and came down with pnuemonia a week before my anticipated publication date- I needed to push back my publication date. I couldn't even write in bed. It was too much effort that I didn't have the energy to expend. So I slept and watched movies and coughed my lungs out. Now I'm feeling a lot better. Tomorrow is my last day of antibiotics. Woohoo! This week I am doing rewrites. Next week final edits. Hopefully the week after that, submittal of the final manuscript.  Keep up with me on social media  at @bethysbook.
