Cookbook reviews: April + May

I've read, reviewed, and cooked from a TON of cookbooks in the last two months. These are the cookbooks ARC's from NETGALLEY.  I thought I knew a lot about global food. This book has taught me, I was wrong. I learned so much about foods that I never would be able to try in my city or that I need to seek out in my city. The variety of recipes is astounding. I can't wait to get a physical copy of this book so I can make more of the recipes.                                                                                                                                        This is a bea...

Finding it hard to get into anything

I am finding it so hard to get into anything recently. I've been dipping back into my pool of books I've loved.  There is so much going on in the world. COVID symptoms can last 4-6 months people. Which means I'm only a month and a half in. My town is opening back up and I'm just not ready. We don't go anywhere other than parks and to the grocery store. You might think it's silly because it hasn't affected you, but all of this is real. And it sucks. And it's dangerous. It's not like the flu that you get over in a week. It lasts and lasts and lasts, like an autoimmune disease.  I recently started relistening to the Molly Harper Mystic Bayou series. It is so good. I can easily get lost in the world and characters.  I read so many new books in May. I think I just got tapped out.  Hoping you are all well.
