This book wrecked me. I read the first third of this book and had to stop, journal, sleep, and come back to it days later. Why? Because it feels authentic. It does what a book is supposed to do. It makes you laugh and cry and shake your fist at the world. It's easy to connect to these characters because they feel like people you already know and love. I finished the remainder of the book on Monday night and had to stop at least 10 times to cry. The ending is worth it. Connect to the story. Really engage with the characters. The investment you put into this book will all be worth it. At the end, I experienced catharsis and now I feel scrubbed clean. Death is a hard subject to tackle. Death with dignity even more so. As I said before, this book wrecked me, but it was so very worth it.
Good for fans of: world travel, romance, YA, cruising
